I love this hike! A pond, an overlook, and some pretty bluffs.
Nice, short (3 mile), easy hike. Couple small waterfalls and prairie land to enjoy. Variety of wildflowers in spring and summer. Usually only a couple cars in the parking lot at the trailhead.
I was honestly shocked. When you pull up you don't really see any of the trail. Just a sign that points you towards where you need to start. The trail itself is not easy by any means. Which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of ups and down, twists and turns. Rocky Terrain throughout. Wooded areas were clear of debris and walking path was obvious. Directional markers all over to keep you on point. I enjoyed it. Worked up a sweat and didnt expect to. I'll be back.
