I am not a client with this law firm. However, a judgement was filed against me and this law firm was assigned too the case. I received a confirmation email almost 30 days ago forwarded from Thurman Law Firm stating they received the payment in full but they could not provide me with a letter of satisfaction nor would they report it too case net (public files) as paid because they have not heard from their client yet if they received the payment. I am trying to purchase a home and other things and this judgment hanging out there is affecting things. I reached out too the law office and explained that I just want this manner resolved and reported as paid. I explained I didn't want too take legal action but if they were going too fail too respond/complete their job here than I would have no other choice but too consult an attorney too get this resolved. His response "do what you have to do then" What great professionalism and not abiding by the law here with this law firm! I don't understand the complexity with a payment received!!!!!! They go after you for payments and even though its satisfied they refuse too close out the outstanding balance saying we still owe.

"My office manager spoke with Amanda and came down worried about why we hadn’t done anything. As such I advised we still haven’t received the funds and she apparently said she would call you back. Sorry to send her back on you, but she is once again calling my staff and driving them crazy. Given your love for her I am sure you will be really worried about it, but I figured I would warn you before your phone blows up. Hope all is well."
