We hired KM contracting to put a new roof on our house and it has been nothing but trouble. First off, they started the job 1 1/2 weeks later than they said. They said they would have a 4 or 5 man crew on the job and get it done in one day. The owner also said that he would be on site to check on the work. Well, they sent out a 2 man crew, it has taken 6 days (so far), and the only time I have seen the owner is when I called him about rain that was pouring into our house (all the way through to a first floor room that we had just had re-done) because their man had not tarped the unfinished part of the roof properly. They also removed a vent pipe while repairing a part of the roof. When their guy was trying to put it back he pulled another piece loose that runs through the floor into the first floor bathroom. Having had all I could take, I yelled "dam" and left the room. This caused their guy to throw a hissy fit and leave. I am frankly fed up. Our roof is still not done, I'm not sure how we are going to get the vent pipe back in place and they act like we have no reason to be upset. We have since parted ways and are having to hire someone else to finish up. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
